After a slow month on the flatheads, typical, I got myself a fat fourty pounder. I caught her on cutbait in heavy current. We were surprised to see it bit the cutbait. Although I've caught quite a few flatties this season on cutbait they were all small. All the big ones of the season came off big live bait. The St. Croix has been good to me this season, let's hope to finish the season with some more BIG fish!!!
