Hope everyone had a nice Christmas! We are going to start doing one to two mini reports a week along with our normal full report every Wednesday. I hope you enjoy the reports! If you would like to receive our weekly report to your e-mail inbox be sure to sign up on the link above. We also do many reports on facebook along with special exclusive deals click here to become our friend. Happy New Year to everyone and keep the site feedback coming!

Lots of action!
24 inch walleye just released! Lots of action and it seems as if the fish are really schooling up anglers have been reporting 20-30 min fast paced fishing stints throughout the day. So when the fish starts biting it is time to put the cards away cause they seem to come with friends!
The best depth continues to be a little deeper than normal around 28'-31' and the hot tackle has been a white jig tipped with a chub.

Ice Conditions
18"-20" on the Lake on the marked trails and 15" on the Four Mile Bay. The Rainy River can be traveled by snowmobile, but no vehicles are recommended yet.

Trail Report
The lake trail from Sportsman's Lodge Rainy River to Oak Island will be groomed in the next few days along with the trail from Sportsman's Rainy River to Warroad. We recieved 12"-15" of nice new snow over Christmas and the snowmobiling is awesome! There is nothing better than fresh new powder. The land trails around Baudette are also being groomed right now. The conditions are excellent. The cross country ski trails at Zippel Bay State Park are freshly groomed and in excellent condition. Come out for the Moonlight Ski Wed, Dec 30.
