Today is the big day for agassiz drawing? This year just for using jeff's access he is giving a 4 man sleeper for two nights. I will be drawing the name today and calling the winner tonight.
The fishing has been decent and I will give a better report tonight. We are up to 18 crappies in the area I have been working and its just enough to keep me working the area?

Hey John get ahold of me and I can find a spot for you.
The fishing was again decent this weekend with walleye, pike, perch and even a crappie or two caught. The area I have been working is up to 19 crappies cool smiley not the mother load but enough to keep my interest in the area? The biggest Pike was 38 inches. The biggest walleye around 22. My son Jonny boy is up helping me this winter and today will be a eye opener as we work on the lake as it is -22 this morning.
Jeff from agassiz and I plan on building a new road or two today as there is alot of unfished area out there that needs to be explored.

The walleye fishing has been nothing short of fantastic out 8 miles anywhere around the center bar. Lee and chris landed 30 walleyes in less the 2 hours yesterday. We are up to 21 crappies in the area I have been fishing and its time to throw in the towel and vacate the area. There is a orange flag along the road at 5 miles if anyone wants to keep working the area. It seems there are a few crappies there but not the mother load. I will have to keep one house there just to keep working the area. Well I have houses to move and fish to find so i better get to work as the sun come up hate to miss a nice sunrise

Were up to 32 crappies for the season and counting. We have begun to explore a new area and have good vibes . The mother load is out there and we will continue to search the reat of this season. After the season is over it willl be time to get the boat and cabins ready for the spring and summer. We willl then have to decide if next year we will continue to search for crappies or concentrate on walleye and pike.
The fishing was outstanding last weekend for some and not so good for others. I guess its luck of the draw. As the wife says its fishing.
The area we are working now has great potential we just need more fishermen to come out of agassiz and explore. The area I just left had produced 25 crappies 5 miles out. I have plowed all over out there and there is trails every which way so setting up on any of the side roads would be quite easy. There is a orange flag marking the area. The new area we are working is 10 miles out and again I have plowed side roads every which way. With out the red baron I would not be able to do this as that v-plow cuts right through the wind blown hard as rock snow.
We will be guiding out of a 20 foot tyee with all the bells and whistle. Its not to early to plan your fishing trip .

Agassi road comes within a 1/2 mile of the reservation waters?
So far its been another great weekend. Yesterday I got to enjoy the red baron as I checked on customers. What a sweet ride.
The fishing has been above average with many many fish caught. It slowed down quite a bit saturday but most were still catching a couple of fish. We are close to 45 crappies for the season or more. Still not the mother load but I will keep looking. If there one theres got to be more?
