The itch? You know its bad when you are at work and asked the infamous question, "How are you today?" and all you can reply with is, "I'd rather be fishin'".

Sorry I have been away for some time...went back to school in Sept. been busy with that.

I'm all set to go fishin though! Got new rods, reels, line, plastics...ect. Gotta love Fishermans Factory Outlet. Can't forget Wal-mart's clearance section.

Early walleye, northern, and bass is April 19. See you on the water.

Well I got a little bonus up my sleeve this year. First off, I got the batteries on the Battery Tender... they're topped off and ready to go. Second is I got one of my busted ST. Croixs sent in for a replacement (remember folks to always store them rods indoors... mine seem to get brittle if I leave them in the garage). And now number three, the bonus. This year My wife bought me an Otter one-man. I was going to trade it in for a two-man, but it sure was pricey for what I wanted, so I returned it and put the money on plastic. Well... there's my tackle for the year smile smiley I am going to pick up a new rod 'n' reel too. Other then that, I am all set.

Oh... almost forgot, been sitting in the boat once in a while and nobody can say boo about it.

Luckily we were able to fish this winter (November & part of December) when we went down to Everglades City, FL.

But since then no fishing, just talking fishing, here, other forums & sport shows.

I'm hoping for an early ice out so we can take a 'before busy season' canoe trip. We can only go for crappie, but at least it is a line in the water! :-)

Well Lynn,

It must have been nice to get down to FLA, even for a bit to do some soft water.

That itch is getting pretty bad. I hope the ice goes away soon. I usually like to hit some crappie holes a week or two before the opener. Kind og tough getting the boat on the water right now. smile smiley
