I say we should at least give him a chance, if he is not as good as we hope he is then just tell him sorry but we dont need you. or just have him as a backup.

Guess what I just found out.On Weds.a private jet from Mpls. flew into Hattiesburg-Laurel regional airport in Mississippi at 9:11 A.M.and departed back to Mpls.at 4:11 P.M..I wonder if anybody on that jet went to Farves farm for a visit? Hmmm. Interesting

I heard that the other day as well. So far no more details have been released so either the media isn't very good at looking up details about the flight or it was just a coincidence and had no connection to Favre.
Its totally possible the vikes sent someone down there. The real question is what did they find when they got there? Was Favre able to throw a ball or is his arm hanging lifelessly down by his side?
I am kind of at the point after last years fiasco I would like this to be decided ASAP. I would almost prefer him to sign with the vikes now and settle it for good then have him wait until July or August and decide to stay retired after months of speculation and rumors.

He probably wants to lay low for awhile before he has to deal with all the media.I'm hearing alot of July talk.

Sounds like chilly is getting together with Farve this week. Woohoo I was also reading that Bretts arm just needs to be scoped.I hope they get this done soon,I better get my bet on the vikes to go all the way in soon while I can still get some good odds.  Wilf is going to make sure chilly is telling Brett every thing he wants to hear.I can't wait for the big announcement.Got to get my #4 jersey.  Maybe we get an MFP get together on the St.Croix river and watch the cheeseheads jump from the bridges when it becomes official.

I can't believe he might be a Viking soon  I have to say he is one guy I have always loved to hate, I really like it when he throws a couple interceptions and then looks like he is about to cry on the sidelines  . I will always be a Vikes fan, but I don't know if I will ever truly be able to like FAAAVVVRRREEE.

I hope they just hurry up and sign him so we can end the drama. At this point it looks inevitable so lets just get it done so we don't have to listen to the hourly Favre updates.
I've talked myself into being ok with him coming here. I figure either he'll do well and give us a shot at a Super Bowl which is great or he'll stink it up and likely cost Childress his job, which is also great. Either way its a win.

Here is the thing that scares me. If the Vikings win the Super Bowl next year what will the headline be in the national news, the Vikings Win or Farve Wins? Farve has become the biggest headliner in the NFL. At this point I am willing to give up a little of my pride to win the Super Bowl but not all of it!
