I am hoping to take my wheeler out tomorrow to get out on bald eagle. I have seen reports of 6-8", which should be enough, but are there any springs/rivers that I need to stay away from?

I am hoping to get out in the morning and see a bunch of other sleds/wheelers out there. It always makes me feel better :-)

I was out on Bald Eagle last night and there was no bite on fish. Maybe it's not bitting during the night time anymore? Anybody out there during the night catch anything?

I was out last Sunday. Tried for pike in the north bay. No flags.
Moved over by the island to see if I could jig anything up and got a eye and a couple of perch.
I'm going out again tomorrow, but I'm thinking of hitting the lake in the early morning. Like 5am.
Is there a early morning eye bite?
After that going to head back to the north bay and through out some smelt for pike.

I went out on wendsday and tryed for some northerns, got stuck with the 2 wheel drive truck, but finaly go to where I wanted to go. Put up the shack and waited all day, not one flag, but got really excited to see a 4+ foot muskie swimm by the hole. It looked 6 inches across at the back of its head. Its kinda the same feeling ya get when you see that big deer walk out. Hart was pumping big time right after that. We are going back to try and get some crappies this saterday. good luck all.
