The last time my wife and I went to visit her grandfather he let me go through all of his fishing tackle and take what ever I wanted. I brought home a good sized box full of vintage lures some that never came out of the package. It looks like he stocked up on his favorites but didn't get a chance to use them all yet. Some of these lures are probably 50+ years old.
There are some crazy lures in the collection, I had to look at the directions to figure out how some were supposed to catch fish. I remember there is one that is basically a long silver bullet looking thing that is absolutely loaded with terble hooks. There has to be atleast 6 of them on there. If a fish hit that thing you would hook him atleast 12 different ways.
I'm planning on putting some of the lures in some sort of shadow box and put them out as decoration. Others will be back in the water catching fish this summer.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~ Chuck Clark
