Yep, Pedro is a HS exchange student from Brazil. And yes I'm the current host family. Our Rotary club brought him in this year. Back home he has never experienced temps below 59 degrees. Man he is in for a surprise this winter here in MN. He had a great time. He missed 3 days of school. He enjoyed the fishing, even though it was cold. Helped field dress the antelope with his shirt over his nose...there is no hunting back in Brazil, so we Americans are all crazy with all the guns we own and hunting we do. But he is starting to figure things out now. Because the bear, deer, antelope, elk, and mule deer that he has been eating he sure likes!! And one of the first things that he wanted to do when he got here was to go shoot guns or archery! He also got to shoot trap and rifles in WY at the gun club. And they know how to do gun clubs out there I tell you! And he got to meet other exchange students out there as well. So Americans are not so crazy now to him he thinks.
