Only Ice, I did go. Yes it was cold as **** but fun, there wasn't as much people there. They gave away like 12 ice augers, and a bunch of rods & knife sets. Sold tickets for a bunch of raffles. My boyfriend won rod and knife set at 37th place, with a .19 perch, a Girl of course won hehehehe with a 2.?lbs. bass $750.00. I didn't get nothing but a few bites and some wind burn. I had a great time though. Do you or anyone know of any more contests that are comming up?

I'm guessing you'll see less contests going on now that the season is closed for everything except panfish.

Nofish, I am sure, Im not a big fan of this in between time. Pan fish are fun. I recall a time I was up on Big Sandy, and hit a croppie hole. WOW it was cast & slam in like 15 min. I had my limit. fun fun fun!

This time of year is when you need to start getting creative. Check out the thread about fishing the river. Its a great spot for inbetween fishing but hard to get to this year.

I'm not sure, I would think you'd be able to get down there right now.
If you really want to get down there but can't drive down to the parking lot by the river you can probably park at the lot up off of River Road and take the stairs down and then walk to the river. Its a little bit of a walk but its not too bad.
