just back and the fishing was not the best i think it had a lot to do with the weather but we did find one 27 incher and a few little ones. there is about 10 to 11 in out there but after this week they will start pulling a few houses out there
just got back from low the fishing was far fromw what it should be but we fished thur-sun and only caught all little fish nothing bigger then 15inches on sat we got 12-13 inches of snow the hole lake was pretty much shut down so if your planing on going up make sure u bring a plow or a shoulve because its hard to get off the trail
We also fished Friday, and Sat. lots of small fish. Did get to keep a meal or two. Weather once again was Cold, windy and lots of snow. Left the lake early Sat. because we couldnt see 5ft. down the road. TOTAL WHITE OUT!! Well hope the 3rd. trip is the charm. Going back on the 15th. Hope the feed bags are on!!
was up there with my pa "only ice" this past weekend, Jan 2-4th. Fishing was slow. lots of little ones in 24 feet, kept a couple. a few fish on Saturday during the blizzard but very slow, little to no fish and what we saw weren't biting well. Was at 32 ft that day. Going up again first part of Feb. likely out past the reefs I suspect with only ice and the crew.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
