Today is the 29th and I am one sore puppy.I filled out again mon. and yesterday we took 29 for the 3 of us. My last fish was a 14&1/2",which turned out to be the biggest of the day. Most of them came in a 11"s. We did get some tullies, which are a blast. Head shakers all the way. The holes are very bootable and by this weekend you will not want to take you truck onto the lake. 4Wheelers will be the ticket until you have to cross water to get onto the ice. I should be out there today with this front comming in but I can only take so much kneeling. The action is starting to heat up as far as the oxygen getting into the lake and the hatch is underway. The tullies are full of larve,so anyone that wants to maybe get a mounter Big Sandy Lake could be the place for you this year. I can be reached after 4:30p.m. at 218-845-8801 .
I have to say that it most always turns into a clinic for the minnow users, but once they try it and catch a few slabs it is like a new life has started. The twinkle in their eye's tell me so and I used to hide it. I have missed out on meeting so many cool people ,because of being protective. Now adays I am out there preaching if you will the idea of downsizing. Get small as Steve Martin used to say.
Well guy's here is too you. Be safe, play hard and above all RIP LIPS.

The St.Croix is a good rod. The rod must have a good backbone with a fast tip. There are alot of 24" ultra light action rods out there.I've tried alot of them and the lightning rods in the signature series are very good. The guide series that Gander Mtn. has are a real bargin at 10$.IM7 graphite, decent guides, cork handle. The reels are important. A good drag is needed. If you can not set it right you will loose too many fish. The bail springs in cheap reels will cost you as well.I like to use Rapala finese series 4 test. It is 1 thousandth smaller than Berkely 2 test.It has all of the qualities I need in a light mono.It cast well in the spring too.

I am all about downsizing (I even downsized my pictures)and top of the line rods. I own both a st croix and a gander series ultralight for the eyes. Boy those crappies are fun. I'll likely be up fishing again this weekend.

I hate to rub your nose in it ,but I'm punching out in 17 minutes . I can hear the horn calling for me,so off I go to play with the slabs you know.
I'll stop by Hillcrest to see if Katie is around to shoot my slabs. Then I'll mail them to you ,only I can not copy & paiste from my documents. If I had an email address I could forward all kinds of slab photos.

You obviously have internet access, so why don't you just go to hotmail.com or yahoo mail and start a free email account. I hope this works for you and saves you some time and effort.
