I never said he was a left-winger, I said he had left-winged comments.

I really hope your not planning on voting for Hillary clinton, if so,
be prepared! I really hope she does not win.

Opinions are like noses, everybody has one! I did not mean to offend you (or anybody else) but I have my opinions and you have yours, lets leave it at that!

I am not certain that Hillary will be the candidate, there is a long time and a lot of mud slinging to go so it could end up being me up for office by then. lol. It would also depend who the Repulican is and what his views are. If a republican told me he was going to phase out of this nonsense in Iraq and go after Bin Laden, the real culprit of 9/11, he just might get my vote. It would'nt be the first time I voted republican. So far they aren't impressing me on either side. I would vote for Al Gore to be re-elected though.

daninthewoods,
I know I'm new here, but I really hope you're kidding about Al Gore. Although he did invent the internet, without him this site wouldn't be possible smile smiley smile smiley smile smiley. So it's a good thing he did that! However he is one of the biggest hippocrits EVER! He wins the Noble Peace price for Global warming (which isn't even proven to be true) then he hopps on his private jet to go accept the award!! confused smiley confused smiley Go figure???

Yeah and getting into his private jet leaving from his home that consumes more wattage than anybody else! smile smileyHes screwed up before and he'll probably screw up again!

I think it was good that we went into Iraq for a good reason, to get rid of Saddam, the rampaging murderer who was building up an army of terorist, trained to to take over america! Now Saddam and his army's are whiped out. This war was not a complete loss and I support the troops who died for us and our freedom. Those who don't support our troops, are not patriots! THEY ARE PINHEADS!

Even most democrats I know can't stand Hilary. Personally, I want Barack to get the nomination.

I think everyone should be supporting the troops. Supporting the war itself is a different story.

Hey, wasn't this thread about hunting er something?

Great site for lake maps and fishing info

Gee....I am gone a week or so and all the name callers poke up like lillies through the snow on a sunny early spring day.

Well..no , I am not hiding in fear, and I am certainly not one of the "drunken slob hunters" that abound. This whole Northwoods bar atmosphere has been a very enlightening place. I have seen and heard several men bragging about their drunken slob hunting ways and never in the history of mankind have more flannel shirts been assembled in one place.

We are in test taking and midterm time. I have pretty short on free time to read/post on the internet. However, in reading what was posted on this thread it appears that there have been plenty of erroneous opinions floated around. I will try to answer a few of the unfounded and incorrect statements that have been made as well as try to inject a measure of reason, common sense, and decency into the discussion. These seem to have been lacking since I posted last.

Oh yeah..I also see that no one has answered the question I asked in messages 72, 73 of this thread... they are still unanswered. More name calling from the hunting guys/gals...but not one answer to what destroys your strongest arguement to allow hunting. POINT AGAIN CONCEEDED TO THE ANIMAL RIGHTS SIDE! Anyone want to try an answer now??? I thought not...it is all blow and no go by the hunters side when it goes to facts instead of plain name calling.

Therefore, till after mid terms.....I hope several of you keep me in your thoughts during this time....you will need folks like me with good paying jobs to produce the tax base necessary to fund the officers and facilities necessary to catch, fine, and jail house the many "drunken slob hunters" that will be taking to the highways and woods in the weeks and years to come.

Backwoods, don't EVER get the impression that I do not support our troops. I do 100%. I do question our leadership. Yes Saddam was not a good guy and the world is probably a better place without him. However even Bush admits he had nothing to do with 9/11. Yes there is Al Quida in Iraq, more and more all the time, because that is the easiest place for them to attack Americans. Al Quida was not a strong force when Saddam was there because he didn't allow any other group to become strong enough to be a legitimate challenge to the Bathist Party. We are the ones who put Saddam in power in the first place. We didn't take him out the first time we went to Iraq, both were mistakes. Republicans and Democrats have failed to make a real effort to get Bin Laden and that angers me. I guess we will just have to wait until the next time he makes a major attack against us and then maybe some leader will grow some b@!!s and take care of the problem. Our men in uniform would have already killed that jerk if the right leadership had given the orders and the manpower to do it.
