Okay, me and some buddies spent some time out on the ice on Saturday. The fishing was really slow, but what we did catch were pretty nice. Woodtic finally got me the pics. I added them in the appropriate sections of the site. Thought I would share a few here too...

Woodtic with a nice slab!

TapTapTap with a couple of nice crappies!

Who's that old fart...

Really, I forgot his name... but some guy we met out on the ice...

Well... some of the users here get a little ticked off when I mention this lake. Let's just say it's up north a ways. As for bait, we jigged with tiny bugs. Colors were white with a trace of green or red. No live bait was used. On the Vexilar, we saw a lot of fish and we could get them to move up the column, but getting them to bite was really tough. We were fishing in 20 to 23 feet. Most of the fish we could move about a foot off the bottom and then they would dive down again. They just weren't interested. But it was nice to get out on the ice for a day and give it a whack. It sure beat cleaning the garage ;-)
