Had an opportunity to visit the Bemidji area this week.
With the recent weather pattern being chaotic to say the least, fishing has been sporadic. Look for an evening night bite for crappies in 30 - 32 feet of water. The bite is light. Try fishing without a bobber.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
