Hey have any on you heard of river watch. Well in may my school will be doing it for the DNR. I think it will be kinda boring but we go to the st. louis river. Does any one know how good the fishing is there.
And yes, the St Louis River is excellent fishing. It is one of the most underrated fisheries in the country. From Lake Superior to the dam, the St. Louis River runs about 15 miles thru some of the most industrial and rustic scenery you will ever find. One minute you will be passing by a thousandn foot ore boat and grain elevators, the next you will be running past beautiful undeveloped shoreline with wildlife all around. It is bursting with a tremendous population of walleye, musky, smallmouth bass and panfish. This fishery contains both numbers and trophy fish in every species.
