A little report from Lake Of The Woods. We only fished 6 people in our shacks this weekend. Friday they kept 21 Sat. 12 Sun. fished the lake for about 2 hours keeping 8. They moved into 4 mile bay for some pike action. Largest ones caught were a 38" (released) and a 41 1/2" that's headed for the wall. Yesterday we took part of the day off and headed for the snowmobile trails. It was a perfect day for riding. We did 70 miles.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
