Spent the day on Saturday trying to catch some of what has become the "hard to find" walleyes. Caught a few, but man, it was tough up there this weekend. Used mostly crawlers and minnows on lindys or jigheads in about 15 feet of water. Spent a lot of time moving and looking as the bite was so slow.
Anyone else up there this weekend?
Also, how can you tell if the lake has actually turned yet. I here everyone talking about it, but would like to know what to look for.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
