Midwest Rod and Reel Midwest Rod and Reel caters to both the open water and hardwater angler alike. Midwest Rod and Reel has a rod designed for every technique and situation. |
Their innovative design lies not only in the high quality blanks and eyes, but in the handle too. With options other then the traditional cork handle, you have a selection of Butternut or Red Cedar handles.
Why wood? Cork is a deadening agent, which equals less sensitivity. Wood on the other hand is not, and believe me when I say this, the first time you try a wood handle, the first question you will ask is why havent I used one before? The other question is who am I going to sell my other rods to?
Looking for a great bluegill rod? Check out their 24 inch Ultra light rod in their Tactical Ice Rod series. How about vertical jigging some Lakers and big northerns, or even sow walleyes? Try their 32 inch Medium action Tactical Ice Rod Plus. Regardless of what species youre fishing through the ice, Al and Bill have a rod that will work in very nicely.
Ice fishing not your thing? Take a look at their summer series. I have already found my spring crappie rod already, a 6 foot, light power, moderate to fast action rod its really going to whip the smaller tubes and baits a long way, and when fishing clear and shallow water, the farther away from the boat the better. They have a wide variety of other rods to choose from, the possibilities are endless. If they dont have a rod that fits your needs, talk to Al or Bill and they will work on it until you have it perfect. Their new Sensor Grip Rods are unbelievable! When your out lindy rigging, you can actually feel the walleye inhale the minnow, the sensor grip has the blank touching through your entire palm, giving you more sensitivity then ever before.
What comes with each custom Midwest Rod and Reel? You get forecast hailoy guides, graphite reel seat with Tich hoods, and inscription of your name, a two year warranty and a lifetime warranty on workmanship.
Midwest Rod and reel is priced very affordably, cheaper then most custom rod places and the quality control is exceptional! I have a few Midwest Rods and I have fallen absolutely in love with them, from Jumbos on Mille lacs, sow walleyes and in a few weeks slab crappies and huge lakers!
Check out Midwest Rod and Reel, you will not be disappointed in the rod that will be in your hands! www.midwestrodandreel.com
So why havent you taken a look at a custom rod? I will be willing to wager any of my loomis and st croix rods to any of these rod that Al and Bill produce.
Actually I am selling those loomis and st croix this spring to pay for my new series of rods coming from them.
