Just got back last night and what a long weekend! Started off Sat out on the mud flats about 15-20 miles out of adrians. Water was very dirty, it actually looked like chocalate milk. Didnt even graph a fish in about an hour so we moved over to the reefs by night island. Caught a few small ones but no keepers. I did talk to a few guys from woodbury that were fishing by us and they didnt do anything either. They also said that they fished or talked to someone by garden; also very slow. Went back into the shallows off of pine island for the evening and caught a bunch of small ones and four keepers in 17 feet. Sunday we took off on the sleds again for oak island. Stopped at the resort for gas and we were told we just missed it. Fishing slowed down as of friday according to the resort. Fished for about four hours caught quited a few fish but all very small, kept three 15-16 inches. My buddy also broke off on a pig which could have salvaged the trip. I also heard of guys doing well in the morris gap.
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~ Chuck Clark
