Yeah, that was me on NBC's Today show this morning, I was leaving Lake Calhoun in MPLS and was interviewed for about 10 minutes about the ice conditions I basically told them the many precautions we take along with our 20 years of experience on these waters, they kept pressing me on what would happen if we fell in and in true media fashion they use the one 5 second clip of the 10 minute interview with me saying we have ropes and we will get out....LOL. You would be amazed how many people are up at 7am watching this show I had 7 calls by 7:20 am and the phone is still ringing.
The next camera I see I'm running the other way....LOL.
If you've got short, stubby fingers and wear reading glasses, any relaxation you would normally derive from fly fishing is completely eliminated when you try to tie on a fly. ~ Jack Ohman, Fear of Fly Fishing, 1988
