I will definitly keep you informed, I may even take a trip up to Red for some slabs. The boat is still for sale. I will persue it more in the early spring. Captron said it was 70 there yesterday. (sucks to be him) :-)
Friday we made our way out on winnie, got a late start. We got into a pile of Jumbos, a few walleyes and northerns to boot, overall we had enough fish for a fish fry for our new years eve dinner, can't beat that. the fish were in 27 - 32' using a Northland Forage minnow jig n spoon tipped with a fathead. The ice conditions were from 8" to 12" so no driving of vehicles as of yet.
AHHH one more day - - -
