I dont have pictures yet, but I will, forgot the digital and had to pay 15 bucks at Tutts for a disposable.

I was out on three rock piles fishing, father and I ended up with a limit and close to a second on perch, our eater walleyes and two slots, I had one hog on the very end of the slot, I wasnt able to get an accurate measurement the fish was so fat that it didnt fit into the trough, it was the fattest fish I have seen and caught on mille lacs this winter. Well over 8 pounds, very nice fish. My dad had one 24 inches. Couple rock bass, some eelpout.

I was working three rock piles out there and did a lot of moving, the piles topped out at 18 feet of water, bottomed out at 34 feet of water.
Punched about 15 to 20 holes on each hump and hole hopped the entire day, picking up a few here and there we decided to grind it out on the three spots.

I started in the morning with a big bait, looking for a big fish, that was my goal. Had one smack it, at 630 am, still plenty dark, just using my head lamp for light, got real rookie like and pulled too much at the hole and straightened out my rap, I was really bumming, that was a very respectable fish.

Picked up three in the morning, some pout and rockies. Basically fished every hole for five minutes looking for an aggressive perch or two then moving. Which worked great, my dad 8 holes in front of me and we moved at the same time. Only three holes had two walleyes caught out of, the top of the rocks, edges and bottoms all produced the same; lots of lookers.

At 11 am, I switched over from my rap and airplane jigs for a 1/16th oz slender spoon and two pound test. I was off the rocks in 28 feet of water, and saw a bug hatch going on, the perch would cruise up through the cloud on my LX-5 and then run back to the bottom. Four perch were coming off the bottom and at 24 feet down, they stopped, above my lure was a big red mark. Which took off after the perch, then came all the way back up to my lure and smacked it. As soon as I set the hook, I knew I had a solid fish on, my guess was a muskie, it took off running, not thumping. I am back reeling for all I am worth to tire it, glad I spooled all 110 yards on, I was getting real short. So I call my dad over, he is watching the whole thing. Finally start to gain on it, about ten feet down my dad says that he saw a white tip, when it got to the hole, he was shocked, pulled it up and the mass of the fish was the fattest I have seen out of there this winter. My father was babbling worse then I was. It didnt fit in the trough, which is the last time I am bringing them out there, going with a straight ruler from now on.

No one was around us again, a few people came out to see us but no one really stayed.
