Now that we are putting the boat up, and with no ice yet, I will be spending time on TV. What is it that people like to watch, when it comes to fishing programs?
Do you want info? How to, Where to?
Do you want to watch fish getting caught?
Are you looking to be entertained?
Do the current fishing programs that are out there do anything for you?
There are a lot I like such as Loud Mouth Bass, Bass Center, Fishing with Roland Martin.
Some I don't care for like, Beat Charlie Moore.
I have to tape most of them, becuse I want to be out fishing on weekends when they first air.
If you had a fishing program what would you do it on?

I kind of throw my lot in with IceMan. If there is time for me to be involved with outdoor activities then I would personally rather have a life/experience than watch someone else on TV live out what I was dreaming about doing. The question was posed "What would you do if you had a fishing show?" It seems to me that the only real reason I could expect folks to give me their time would be if I could consistently put knowledge in anglers hands on how to catch more and larger fish under a greater set of conditions. If a person could do that then the legitimacy of the program would be there. Actually, that is a really good guide as to whether an outdoor program deserves my time---Will it actually give me the ability/knowledge to put more and larger fish in the boat under greater ranges of circumstances? If not I am better off oiling reels, stringing tip ups, sharpening augers, replacing hooks, etc. which absolutely will help me put more fish in the boat or on the ice. Just my 2 cents worth but I would rather live it, or prepare equipment to live it, than watch it-unless it will definately make me a more knowledgeable and successful angler.

Good Fishing,
