I've been working on my game plan for opener and have a pretty good idea how I'm going to attack things this year. My only question I have is do you guys think I'll need my extension or will my auger be ok without it?

5" extension should be sufficient!

I heard there is still 27" of ice on Leech....That should be down to just a foot or so by opener! So I'd leave the extension at home! smile smiley

I'm kind of hating this very late spring. The opener will create a choice between spring crappie fishing spots, walleyes, or smelting on the north shore! And....I may not even be around for it!!! I may have to choose between striped or blue marlin, snapper, or rooster fish! Oh my!!! smile smiley

50 block, 70 block, or 100 block? Tequila or Rum? lol!!! Choices...

I'm sort of cheering for the ice to stick around. Not many times you can say you fished tip ups on opener.
