I worked for them for about 6 weeks. they are nice folks, but it is a book club. The books are nice, but pricey. I thought I would be doing TV work for them. I have beenTV producer for 20 years. but they needed me to be a customer service person. That is not me. You will get a bill for anything they send you. some people do get suff. they have about 20,000 people or so that belong and say they send out 150 rods and reels, I will leave it to you to decide if it is worth it to belong. T he stuff you buy is ok, the freebee suff is junk. If they send you any thing you don't want call them right away and complain they will make it right. If you like it buy it. The bass book is great and worth the money.
I joined and left in the same year. They sent me that bass book, I didn't ask for it. About 3 months went by and I get a bill for the book, I called and told them I wasn't going to pay for it cause they just sent it to me out of the blue. They never sent me another bill. I still have the book, and they can't do anything about it. HA-HA.
About 6 months ago I get the walleye book, same thing. I didn't ask for it, you sent it. So now I have the bass book and the walleye book. And I got them both for free. HA-HA again...
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
