the fishing on upper red lake has been steady in 7-12 feet of water. small spoons jigged with a minnow head and a plain hook with minnow has produced very well. spoon colors were gold, rainbow, and red glow. and a plain red or chartreause hook on deadstick. I have some sleepers on lake now with about 14-16 inches of ice. I have houses full over Christmas so we shall see if bite continues.
