Two weekends ago a friend and I hit the big lake working around reefs on the windy sides. Picked up a few in the 17 - 20" range. Also found some stacked on the calm side of an island. Graph said 35 feet deep but we caught them in the 20 to 25' range. Size up to 23" but most in the 18" range. The island produced a lot of fish. We used green and lime jigheads tipped with chubs and shiners. Shiners did the best.
Thank's bigbite, it was my first time on rainy but it won't be my last! I think we just missed the bite a little the sat. we were there was just about dead calm and sun. was some of the weather they had down south, it was rought!!!! when we got out of the roller coaster i picked them up on my screen but no takers. so back out in the rought got some good bites but just could'nt stay out on the bite. thank's again, Leech Dragger
