New to Minnesota laugh smiley and this forum, When can i start looking for frog eggs or tadpoles around here?

Welcome to the forum, Smiles4Me2Night,

Believe it or not, most tadpoles and frogs hibernate in the winter. Frogs will start laying eggs in spring typically April and May and they will hatch a couple of weeks after that. Might be a bit early this year, though

Make sure to check DNR regulations. Tadpoles are considered minnows and they are regulated like everything else in the country.
