In early December I caught walleye on steep rocky drop offs. Now they seemed to have moved more to the open lake flats over soft bottom. Is this typical of December walleye movement in NE Minnesota lakes.

I have found in the past that during December, fish movement can be sporadic along the outside weed edges in about 9 feet of water. But I am not sure this is a typical December, with the late freeze. These links may help...
