I'm thinking of selling my two atv's and buying a side by side. I looked at the John Deere Gator so far. What a great looking machine. Has anyone heard about these CF Moto ATV's? They are sold at Quad Central in Ham Lake. They look nice and are 4000 plus less expensive, but I'm a little worried about an off brand. Any thoughts on Brands and dealers you have bought from would be helpful.
My friends parents have a Gator up at the cabin that we use when we are up there. They are great for yard work and stuff like that. We used it for deer hunting this year as well. It worked well for the most part but the wheel base is wider than a normal ATV so it can get a little rough on established ATV trails because the tires won't line up with the established tracks. It leaves you running on the out sides of the ruts and you get bounced around pretty good depending on the trail.
Its a good machine for many things and its comfortable and easy to handle for pretty much anyone. It just has that one downside if you are planning on running it on ATV trails that are rutted out.
I haven't had any experience with other brands.

People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
