Now this is really bizarre! If I read this right, someone invented a way to hunt over the Internet...

"The concern about online hunting arose earlier this year when John Lockwood of San Antonio unveiled live-shot.com. Using special software, cameras and motors to control a hunting rifle, Lockwood created a way for anyone in the world to shoot animals in Texas over his Web site in real time."

This is nuts! Sit in your den and shooting animals. Very strange and I would outlaw it too. Pretty soon they will come up with robots controlled vis the web so you can go throught the woods and blast away.

More information is here...

Now think to yourself... who would ever come up with something like this?

well, since it's in Texas.. it makes perfect sense though that a Texan would come up with something that stupid...

on a similar note.. back a few months I caught a blurb on fox news website about some stupid porno company doing scenes on florida indian reservations after their female actors would shoot an animal which wasn't wild....

that's all as much poaching to me as the morons who come into Minnesota and take 5 x's their limits on fish...

MAYBE it's time to have 2 tier license for out of state fishermen.. first tier is catch & release only.. 2nd tier price allows them to take the same limits as those of us who actually live here (just a wild idea i thought about a couple years ago)

Even a BAD day of fishing is better than a good day of work; paydays excluded!

I actually like the two tier licensing concept. AND heavy fines to any who break the laws.

The thought of internet hunting is disturbing, I also like the tier concept.

Hay sportsnut218:

I happen to like Texas, so don't be bad mouthing that great state.
I think every lake should be catch and release on all predator fish. And if you are caught with these fish, you lose all of your privileges to hunt and fish in Minnesota for ever.

I agree with all the comments made, but the invetor invented the concept for a quadrapedic who prior to his injury was an avid hunter.

It seems if it was utlized for this purpose and this purpose only it would be ok.
