Looking for new fishing buddies to fish with since my friends that so call loves to fish don't know how. Found out the hard way after I ended up baiting their hook and taking the fish off. Not to mention wacking me a few times with a hook or the pole. I usually go to Lake Minnetonka and use live bait. So if you don't mind fishing with a female that doesn't scream at a sight of a leech and can fish properly than let me know
Welcome to My Fishing Pals. Glad to have you aboard!
We have way too few users of the opposite sex on this forum. I am looking forward to your insight and maybe a report or two. I fish Minnetonka a few times a year and usually do pretty good over there. I have a buddy who fishes it all the time and he usually puts me on fish.
Last year we were out walleye fishing in one of the north/western bays and we had run low on bait. We knew of this bait shop about a block from a public dock, so I dropped my buddy off and pushed off and started fishing about 50 yards out... wating for him to get some more minnows and leeches. I tossed out a leech and caught a whopper bass... must of been at least 5 lbs. Cool!... Threw out another leech and immediately caught another not quite as big, but still very nice. So I see my buddy walking back through the parking lot by the dock and he went over to this car that was parked there. Ooops... it was the DNR and I didn't even notice him parked there. They talked for a while and then my buddy walked out on the dock and I picked him up. I was estatic because of the bass I was catching and I started telling him about it. He broke out laughing. He said the DNR guy had told him that the day before, this dock was used as the release point for the annual bass tourny that is held on Minnetonka. Those big bass were still hanging in the weeds. We spent a couple of hours fishing them and had a blast
