I finally had a chance to put some time in on a few local lakes this weekend. There is nothing better than 30deg weather and a dozen holes in my path! There were so many people I watched show up climb into ice houses on such a beautiful day. I through quite a few things at these guys but settled in on a Gill Pill by Custom Jigs and Spins tipped with a waxy. We ranged from 6ft to 15ft of water every place we went and always laid down 6-8 holes per person. I used the trusty Marcum and never stayed longer than 2-3 minutes if nothing showed. We had no problem getting around on the lakes and seen many cars getting around also. Enjoy the pics!
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
