Hey everyone,

Been a while, but I am back!

I am looking for anything within a 30 mile radius of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area for fishing this weekend. I am mostly interested in 'eyes but would consider bass. I want to take my nephew out and do some fishing for a day trip. Want to pull the boat so a landing would be nice.

Any ideas????

Hey Ted,

How ya been?

This is wierd because I was going to ask almost the very same question. I got some family obligations on Sunday, but was thinking of hitting a local lake on Saturday with my boy. I too am looking for walleyes or bass. Thinking of going to Bald Eagle but the crappies are pretty tough now. Don't want to go to Prior or Minnetonka for the obvious reasons. Coon lake was a long wait just to get on last time I was there. Might try Waconia, but it has been a long time since I have been there. Sooooooo.......

I am looking for a new spot to put the boat. Always nice to find new spots out there.

Does anybody have any recommendations as to where to go?

Orchard in Lakeville… Get there early (before the sun comes up.) or you will not get on the lake. There is only a few parking spots, 9-10 I think.

My family does not have a boat so all I could sugjest would be Bush lake bloomington. It is very easy to shore fish.
