got out a little later probably around 7pm on Friday. we just pulled out and set up quick on the shallower side of the group. the fish would move under us but they were biting finicky as heck. smallest bait possible with a little piece of meat caught us a couple decent sized crappies and one nice sunfish. Missed several as well.

We moved to the deeper area at about 10:00 and stayed there with similar results until about midnight when we left. It was starting to snow at that time so we figured it would be best to pack up. Woke up to 3 ft snow drifts on surrounding the truck! Those fish were lock jawed but if you worked em just right you could trick em.

I'm gonna go give it a shot tonight for a bit and see what happens. Probably Peltier, wink smiley

Yes. same one. maybe 8 inches at best. But the dam on that side of the lake tends to keep the ice a bit thinner.

update here. I got out on Peltier a few days ago and fished in about ten feet. Brought in a good amount of panfish. Tiny crappies but some really nice sunfish. 8 inches and up for the sunfish!

made for a real nice meal! smile smiley

East side or by the crowd? I have a nephew coming up from Milwaukee and looking for a place to try.

Sort of by the crowd but in on the tip of that point. Not so much in the deeper water where most of them are fishing.
