Hi guys, just wanna share with you my experience in fishing using trolling motors. The use of trolling motor is very useful in fishing, it is located on the bow or stern sometimes both, thats used for moving a fishing boat through the water quietly, to avoid spooking the fish.
Trolling motors really dont trolltheyre a means of keeping you in fishin'.Right guys?
actually, i use mine to troll. i have an older bass boat and it doesn't troll well with the big motor. a transom mounted electric or gas motor wouldn't mount easily and would be hard to control. i front-troll for walleyes with a minn-kota 70lb 24v bow-mount. it works terrific. great control and i can go as slow as i want. of course, i use it for boat control when casting muskies or bass too
Thanks for sharing your trolling motors fishing experience. I agree that a transom mounted electric or gas motor wouldn't mount easily and would be hard to control. By the way, I really like your minn kota 70lb 24v bow-mount, it's great! very nice! I hope you can share more about your experiences in fishing.
