Hi i have a state bass tournament comin up on prior lake on august the 17 and i was wondering what to do there because I havent ever even seen Prior lake. So any help u can give will be greatly appreciated
feel sorry for you. prior lake (southwest twin cities metro) is almost as crowded as minnetonka is. the problem with prior is that it is smaller than minntonka and narrow which means even the courteous pleasure boaters (which are very few) have a hard time not bothering fisherman. its going to be hard to find shoreline as most of the lake is developed. i generally dont fish the lake in the summer. i do a little fishing there in the fall. im afraid im not much help for bass as i usually fish for walleye. about the only info i can give you is this: if you are going to prefish this lake put your boat in early in the morning or do it on a weekday our youll be in line for 45 minutes. ps did i mention there is alot of boat traffic on prior?
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
