Okay the Wally Kong will be passing through International Falls for my yearly fishing trip to Canada.I go with Northern Wilderness Outfitters outside of Fort Frances.Been doing out post fly in's with "Vic" for over 25 years. Is there anything new at the "gate" border crossing--thanks in advance for any info.
Was just through in June and things went as usual. I didnt bring any but is sounds as though as long as you have potatoes in a manufactures bag you can now bring them through. It was like 10lbs per person. My next best advice is to be organized and have passports/birth certificates for kids and its smooth sailing! Please post up when you get back!
Sand Bur Thanks for getting back to me with the info----I will get back to you when I get back. I'm trying to fit a Rainy Lake fishing trip in later in the summer or early fall but the wife has me remodeling a bathroom.
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
