A buddy and me fished the southeast/east and things weren't bad at all. Caught a couple in ten feet that were around 15". Really wierd but in the afternoon we started catching a lot of fish in under 10 feet of water. Caught our limit before 5 pm. Used mostly leeches on red jigs. The largest fish was 26". So what was working for us? We deviated from the normal "Mille Lac Bobber Routine" and drifted bouncing jigheads off the bottom. Primary colors were red and pink. To me it looks like Mille Lacs is picking up a bit. Definitely a lot better then last year.
