I am going musky fishing on our favorite lake this satruday and was wondering how u guys have done so far this season? what size baits should i start out with? Should i use bucktails, plastics, gliders, spinnerbaits (bass) or topwater? THANKS!
Haven't made it out yet, but from what I've read start small and move up till you find what they want. Let us know how it went and best of luck to you.
I was out on Bald Eagle last tuesday and my buddy was throwing around his muskie gear. He had one big blow up on a surface lure and then a following of another surface lure. There was a Muskie league out there that day with probably 12 boats all huckin' big baits, never saw any boated but I'm sure some were caught.
we ended up not catching any muskies but we did have a big foolow up on my small bucktail, and my grandpas zara spook got lit up by a muskie and it bit him off. we did end up catching around 30 bass and 28 and 30 inch northerns. my biggest bass was 23 inches and 5 lbs and 14oz. i had webdude put up some pics for me
