Yeah.. tube's get hit on the drop .. all of a sudden instead of going straight down on the drop your line stars going out away from the weedline etc. Only thing I have a real problem with is sometimes I don't wait long enough and try to set the hook too quick like I would with crankbaits etc which are more fool proof, thus pulling the tube and hook outa the fish's mouth.|
One thing I noticed tonight when I went back out again.. the bass weren't exactly large the 3 total I caught today with tubes.. the hook going trought eh side of the mouth and coming out a small gay between the eye and the eye socket of the fish. It didnt' cause any harm any of the 3 times.. but seemed a little wierd to me, haven't never hooked a fish near the eye even double trebles of a larger rapala.
Even a BAD day of fishing is better than a good day of work; paydays excluded!
