The Crappies were Hot on the Bite in Little Blue, Nothing in Big Blue, they were biting on Chartruese 1/4 oz jig head tipped with a crappie minnow, carefull going thru the channel between the lakes, came across 1 1/2 ft of water and alot of log and weed debris. most of the fish I caught were in the 4-5 ft range on the northern most portion of Little Blue. Had my limit in about 1 1/2 hours and all about 11-12 inches. Going back tommorow if I can get home in time.
Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
