My dad and I spent a few hours yesterday afternoon in the search of a couple slabs. We tried a few places and finally landed on one that produced a crappie within minutes. We anchored up and managed to boat 9 crappies all around 14-15", and missed at least that we also got quite a few bonus C/R walleyes. Colors that seemed to work the best were orange/black/brown. We caught the fish in about 7 fow using bobbers set about 3.5 feet down, trying to stay away from the eyes. The water temperature ranged from 44.1-46.2 degrees in the spots I fished. I've got a couple pics but not sure how to post pics on this forum.
I added your pics to our pics section. Also linked them all to your website and added your guide service to the pulldown menu on the pics pages. You photos will stay on the homepage until they get bumped off.
If you've got short, stubby fingers and wear reading glasses, any relaxation you would normally derive from fly fishing is completely eliminated when you try to tie on a fly. ~ Jack Ohman, Fear of Fly Fishing, 1988
