yea this year was my best year up there i went 7 times and there was 3 fish over 28 caught this year, this was my last weekend and it ended great ended up catching 120 fish and three that were 23 a few 20's and of course the big guy cant wait till the river opens up!!
i go out of adrains i fish 8.2 miles out from pine island on the left side of the road its a plowed road but you will see where we were set up its right by the road but if you look down about a 100 yards you will see where i started the year at the only reason i pulled it ahead is cause my house was in 4inches of water but after i drilled holes in the 2nd spot the water came up too! we had walleyes swimming around the out side of the house.but if you set up on top of the snow you will by good ,the road out is getting bad so the sooner the better. you will mark fish all day long but just bounce the bottom and stir up the mud and you will get them (buckshots)
no but i came home on thur.so not sure what it will be like but im sure there not much snow but bring your hip boots, the only place you might need 4wheel is over pine island because of the sand but they were grading it ever morning but grab some red mixed with pink buckshots and the dead line try two minnows cause that the only way we could get them to bite the dead line ,if you see fish 10-15 below the ice reel up cause there all nice walleyes let me know how ya do o ya there some nice tullibes mix in there to
People who fish for food, and sport be damned, are called pot-fishermen. The more expert ones are called crack pot-fishermen. All other fishermen are called crackpot fishermen. This is confusing. ~ Ed Zern, 1947
