I'm starting to get worried about driving out on a few places!!!

I drive and walk on a few metro lakes where the ice will soon be getting pretty thin

Round (anoka) east side by the cat tails

Peltier: near the middle where the stream runs through for the dam out in front of the point.

White Bear: Pretty much all over?? {heard about the guy who went through}

Rush: Can you still drive from east to west

Knife: up by where the river runs it gets thin fast

Ham: under the bridge to the island

Anywhere else in th metro that i should stay off would be helpfull now that the lakes are getting a little light on ice would be helpful. just trying to stay dry and warm. Especially south of the cities.

While I know these sot are still good with the weather it won't be long. If anyone knows some spots to avoid breaking through on late season post em here.

Good luck with late ice action

Most of the lakes i've been to in the NE Metro (Bald Eagle, WB, Green) lately we've been bottoming out our augers. I measured 28 inches on Green today.

Yeah same here in most spots. we got a few more weeks of 40s before it actually starts to get thin. Just figured some people might know of spots that aint so good. I've been running around to alot of lakes I'm not to familiar with and i would hate to spend 2500 to 4000 pulling a 800 dollar car out of the lake.

i was out on Cedar near new prague and there is 24+ inches of ice as of last weekend. i am planning on going to the WBL area to fish today, hopefully what i read up above isn't one that is really low for ice and more like the rest i have fished lately.
