I need some help - -sorry have not been on much lately -- I want to take my Father in law (he is 76) out for some serious pike fishing - he loves tip ups. Would appriciate some advise on a lake that is producing - or will produce some good pike fishing. He is crazy about pike !! Thanks for the help

Pike fishing has slowed on Bemidji itself. You might want to try Cass or Grant. Midge lake has been showing an ocassional nice pike. All the lakes in the area have decent size pike population. Most people in the area try to avoid them.
