Many of us tend to think that all the dollars from the Amendment are controlled by the Lessard/Sams Outdoor Heritage Council. Not SO!
The Amendment created four pots of $$ 2/5ths to L/SOHC, 2/5ths to Clean Water legacy and the rest to Parks and the Arts.
The Legislature has complete control over the Clean Water dollars. A helpful way to get a better overview of what and where these dollars might go, please take the following survey. This survey is how they are looking to get stakeholder (that's you and me) to provide input. So please take the survey and then post a response so we can discuss this more.
Thanks for the link! I took the survey and my personal opinion living on Diamond Lake by Willmar and dealing directly with water quality here as a tester and input for the new water district. Is the farm lobby has too much infulence. So farms aren't regulated near as much as any type activity or disturbance around our waters. If you take the survey please think about the estimated numbers of pollutants farms contribute to our waters estimated at 80%!of all contribitors.NOW THATS TOO MUCH SORRY FARMERS BUT FACTS ARE FACTS.I catch alot of heat when this is mentioned, and almost every farmer states "But we are regulated" Yes you are but not near as much as others!and yes you do feed us, a rise in prices of groceries is worth the nutrients you could stop entering our waters
Of all he things I ever done I aint never had too much fun
Keeping America clean and beautiful is a one mans job."Mine" We all need that attitude

Even eminent chartered accountants are known, in their capacity as fishermen, blissfully to ignore differences between seven and ten inches, half a pound and two pounds, three fish and a dozen fish. ~ William Sherwood Fox, Silken Lines and Silver Hooks, 1954
