Good Fishing! A consistent bite has been reported since the weather has stabilized with the afternoons favoring the mornings in recent days. The water clarity is really impressive this year. Along with a many nice eater size walleyes a few larger fish have been caught and released too. A 27.5 inch walleye was caught by Brandon Noble and 27.5 walleye was also caught by Ryan Winters this week along with a 39.5 inch northern pike too! The northern pike really started to hit in a few houses when the weather turned clear and cold. The best fishing along with the two large walleyes were caught using a gold jig tipped with a minnow in about 22-25 of water.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~ Chuck Clark
