yes saturday two friends were out on bald eagle in hobe bay did pretty good catching some nice eyes. I was out saturday on white bear kinda late ( forgot to bring the vexilar) out in front of the vfw didn't get a bite but i know others are doing good there catch some nice crappies. went on peltier in centerville didn't catch a thing. I'll be ending out to hobe bay or the west side of bald eagle wednesday evening.
What part of the lake is Hobe Bay on? New to the area and planning to go to Bald Eagle this weekend. Any tips or pointers anyone can give me for walleye locations on the lake would be very much appreciate.
Also, anyone have any idea how much ice is out there? I am hoping to bring my wheeler, but am not sure how much ice is out there. Any spots (Springs, current from rivers, etc) on this lake to avoid due to thin ice?
if you can get a map of bald eagle hobe bay is on the west side of the lake a little north of the point on the west side. the point on the west side is also a good crappie spot with an occasional walleye thrown in. we always set up a little south of the point when were fishing for the craps.
