Vex hands down. (so far) Ive had a 8 and now a 20. I mount my Glow N Go on my vex and thats all you need. Your hands free glow tazer and the multiple screens. When i step outside for a minute the guys switch there 8 for my 20. I love the 6 and 12 foot ranges.

Really all the flashers on the market seem to be great units. Everyone has their favorite but really you'd be hard pressed to make a bad decision.

Really the only advice you need is to determine how much money you can spend and buy the one with the most features that fits in your price range.

The only other thing I'd offer is that I'd put some extra weight on the zoom feature. Its nice to have.

Other then that Vex, Bird and Marcum all make quality products.

Well besides the great price, I liked the digital depth display and the hummingbird lets you mark depth for schooling fish. But the price was just to good to pass on, the Fl 20 was just to expensive, and it arrived today and was ordered mon morning, couldn't believe it. Now we just need some ice so I can try it out.
